About Mt. Crescent Ski Area
Mt. Crescent Ski Area is located 15 miles northeast of Downtown Omaha, Nebraska in the mountainous terrain of the Iowa Bluffs. Mt Crescent has been open for over 50 years. Olympic gold medalist skier, Stein Eriksen, assisted in finding the perfect spot for a new ski area in 1961. Mt. Crescent Offers ski and snowboard lessons for all ages. Mt. Crescent was built shortly after. Mt Crescent provides Midwest skiers with a variety of slopes that attract skiers both new and experienced. Thanks to 20 hard-working snow-making machines, skiers and snowboarders of all levels can zip down nine different runs reaching up to 2,000 feet, and also enjoy night skiing at this western-Iowa resort.
