About Mt. Norquay
The first ski area in the Canadian Rockies, Mt. Norquay have been a scenic spot for skiing pros to teach mountain skills since 1926. Around 2,800 people a day can comfortably ski the 190 acres. Navigating this winter wonderland are hikers clad in snowshoes and tubers at Tube Town, where eight sliding lanes let visitors travel downhill. Snowboarders catch some air at the terrain park. With windows looking out onto the snow-covered slopes, Cascade Lodge makes for a warm respite from the outdoors to sip specialty coffees or Après beers on tap, or grabbing a bite to eat.
