About Mud, Sweat, and Beers

Runners for a Muddier Tomorrow challenges runners to conquer forests, water crossings, and mud in simulated prison escapes. At undeveloped locations, trails wind through felled trees and tall grass, letting participants choose to sprint, sneak through, or build a dam and never leave. Wielding paintball markers, snipers hide along each race aiming at participants. During events, Runners for a Muddier Tomorrow's staff mans rest stations. Here, they grill food, available for an additional fee, and pour complimentary beverages including sports drinks and water. The race organizers also look for new ways to innovate their competitions, hatching plans for other events such as mock zombie outbreaks.
