For $15, today's side deal gets you $35 worth of organic, handmade jewelry from muichic, an online vendor of handmade Colombian jewelry. muichic ships anywhere in the world for a flat rate of $3.50 (not included in the cost of today's Groupon).

muichic's jewelry is crafted from tagua nut, a seed that comes from the tagua or ivory-nut palm tree, which was named for the seeds that have the look and consistency of elephant-harvested ivory. These trees grow in the tropical forest habitat of South America, and seeds are harvested naturally when they tumble to the ground, preventing both the need and the desire to fell trees. The jewelry fashioned from these seeds is earthy, unusual, and beautiful; like the fingerprints of snowmen, each seed has its own shape and grain for an infinitely varied source of raw material.

The handcrafted Colombian jewelry comes in the form of necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings. Don a pair of dangling minunous earrings ($26) in brown, orange, and natural hues, or opt for a chunk trapezio ring ($24) in your choice of vibrant, glittering jewel tone. Necklaces are equally bold and colorful, such as the kaleidoscopic concentric circles of the aros necklace ($80), while fans of more delicate accessories might opt for the luna bracelet ($25), flat interlinked beads that take the form of crescent and full moons.

This Groupon can be redeemed beginning July 28.
