Q:

I am interested in taking one of the Spanish classes. In reading the above response to Evan's question, I will try to figure out which class I should take. My question is, do you offer college credit for these classes. If not, do you offer cpdu's for Chicago Public School teachers?

laverne  asked on  Dec 8, 2013

A:

Hi Laverne! Unfortunately, we can't offer college credit for them. I don't believe you can get CPDUs - though that's something we'd love to be able to offer. Perhaps discuss it with your school administrator? Thanks much! - Jill

Q:

Is there parking available and do you provide learning materials or do we need to buy books? I was interested in Mandarin for beginners. If so how much are the books?

Vicky B.  asked on  Dec 7, 2013

A:

Hi Vicky! There's street parking within 1-2 blocks and super easy CTA access. You do need to buy books, and they're usually around $20 but last through multiple levels. Any additional questions, feel free to email adrienne@mlconnections.com. Thanks much! -Jill

Q:

Hi, I would like to take your language classes and I am going to buy one of your winter courses through groupon. However, I am unsure of which class would be best for me between the beginner 3 and the intermediate 1. I took 3 semesters of Spanish in college, 2 years ago, and since then I have used Spanish a lot, especially the past few months because I am a teacher and speak Spanish with children and parents that I work with. Is there a test I can take? or could I potentially switch classes if one is too hard or too easy for me?

Evan T.  asked on  Dec 7, 2013

A:

Hi Evan! Why don't you take a look at our leveling guide and see if that helps: http://multilingualconnections.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Spanish-Leveling-Guide.pdf. You can absolutely switch levels, so no worries there. If you have additional questions, just email adrienne@mlconnections.com. Thanks! Jill
