What You'll Get
The earliest history museums had little actual history to draw on and instead padded exhibits with wildly speculative displays about how dinosaurs would be elected to Congress by the year 2000. See how far we’ve come with today’s Groupon to the National Museum of American Jewish History. Choose between the following options:
- For $12, you get two general-admission tickets (up to a $24 value).
- For $22, you get four general-admission tickets (up to a $48 value).
Children 12 and younger get free admission if they are accompanied by a paying adult or cloak of invisibility. As an added bonus, Groupon customers receive 10% off at the museum store during the same day as their visit.
Featuring more than 1,200 artifacts, as well as original films and 13 state-of-the-art interactive displays, the National Museum of American Jewish History welcomes visitors from all backgrounds and religious affiliations to learn the story of how immigrants flourished under freedom. Highlighting the diverse experiences of American Jews, narratives are told through unique artifacts, stories, and interactive media arranged throughout five floors in a new, 100,000-square-foot facility. Across three and a half floors, the core exhibition tells the 350-year story of the Jews’ immigration to America, the struggles they faced, and their impact on the nation. The permanent collection exhibits artifacts and keepsakes that represent historical moments and modern practices of America’s Jewish residents. Only in America hones in on the experience of 18 exceptional Jews in America, including Albert Einstein, Esteé Lauder, and Sandy Koufax. To accompany food for thought, the in-house Pomegranates Café vends light kosher fare in its space overlooking Market Street.

About National Museum of American Jewish History
The National Museum of American Jewish History's core exhibition traces more than 350 years of American Jewish history, documenting their triumphs and struggles since first settling in 1654. Spread across 25,000 square feet on five floors, the exhibition's historical objects and lifelike environments cover subjects such as the late 19th-century Jewish immigration and the involvement of American Jews in the Civil Rights Movement. As the exhibition moves into the present day, visitors can share their own stories and opinions in two of the museum's interactive stations: It's Your Story and the Contemporary Issues Forum. After sharing their own journeys, guests can explore the Only in America Gallery/Hall of Fame, where multimedia displays and original artifacts highlight the lives of prominent Jewish Americans, including Irving Berlin and Estée Lauder.
Cups of Old City Coffee, baked goods from LeBus, and vegetarian and dairy cuisine from Di Bruno Bros. reenergize museum-goers at the Pomegranates Café; kosher fare is also available. Additional museum programming includes educational opportunities for adults and kids, as well as live events such as lectures, discussions, and concerts.
