The museum presents and explores the diverse history, heritage, and culture of people of Chinese descent in the United States through innovative exhibitions, educational initiatives, and public programs. Recently, MOCA was featured in the Condé Nast Traveler as one of the best small museums in New York City and reviewed by The Wall Street Journal

Customer Reviews

Great museum to learn history of Chinese in America.

The museum was located at a very unique place. I was really fond of the inner design and displays, especially for the poetry and stories illustrated by Asian Americans from the past century. Highly recommend this-- it's an opportunity to learn, to explore and to appreciate :)

Nice, small museum. As an ABC, it was a great way to share some of our family experiences with my kids.
