Q:

I have one adult and 3 kids.. can I use the 2 adults and 2 kids to cover the 4 of us

Tammy W.  asked on  May 21, 2013

A:

Since value of a regular child admission is equal or less than the value of an adult admission, this is okay.

Q:

Is there an age limit for children to enter the museum? Can I bring my 2-yr old? How much is a regular ticket for a 2-yr old and is there any interactive exhibits that are for children? Thanks.

Kanyu  asked on  May 21, 2013

A:

Kanyu, there is no age restriction at the Museum of Making Music. With that, it's good to know that the Museum is not set up like a children's museum and you may find that the content is more appropriate for school aged children. This is why we offer free admission to children age 5 and under. We encourage parents with younger kids to really take the time to explore the music and instruments at a pace that will engage their children (help them push the musical kiosk buttons and describe what it sounds like) and interactive instruments one-on-one (help them hold and play the instruments). It's also a great opportunity to show children how proper care and handling of instruments is important so that everyone can share in the fun!

Q:

we have 4 children (ages 6-14) and 2 adults.............what to do.......

Anne S.  asked on  May 21, 2013

A:

Well, if you get the Two Adult, Two Children coupon you'll only be paying $12 for your group and pay $5 for each of the other children. Grand total would be $22 (still less than the $38 it would cost to visit without the Groupon). OR... if you have a couple of adult friends (i.e. grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc.) you could purchase two of the 2 adult, 2 children Groupons (1 as a gift for them). All four children would be able to go and all four adults as well for only $24!
