Housed in a historic landmark building overlooking Central Park, the Museum of the City of New York guides you through the past, present and future of all five boroughs of New York. Dive into the history and culture of this vibrant city through images, art, cartoons, film and historic objects, accessories and costumes. The everchanging array of exhibits explores life in the city through it's history; through the eyes of its artists and creators and through its contemporary cultures of art and activism. Take a rest in the intimate cafe and enjoy a coffee and baked goods in between exhibits.
The Museum is open seven days a week from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
