What You'll Get
Music is humanity's universal language, narrowly beating out such close contenders as Esperanto, The Simpsons references, and yodeled profanity. Learn how to rhythmically communicate across cultures with today’s Groupon: for $62, you get four weeks of 30-minute music classes at Music to My Ears in Cotati (a $128 value).
The experienced tunesmiths at Music to My Ears bring melodious know-how to students of all ages, experience levels, and instrumental disciplines. Students attend a month of weekly half-hour lessons, selecting class topics from a diverse range of 18 string, wind, or percussion instruments. They can take on the guitar to follow in the footsteps of legendary rock thrashers, grapple with a didgeridoo for Aboriginal audibility, or delve into drumming to master basic rhythms or communicate friendly greetings in Morse code to passing neighbors. They may also purchase books and band supplies from Music to My Ears’ fully-stocked shop or rent studio space to rehearse a groundbreaking production of My Dinner with Andre: The Musical in privacy.

About Music to My Ears
Captained by multi-instrumentalists Aja and Daniel, the talented teachers at Music to My Ears have trained many accomplished pupils on a range of instruments. The team includes wonderful Cheryl, who teaches students to sing outside of the shower or play that favorite pop song on your piano. New students can hone their musicality with one-on-one sessions or alongside their peers during group classes in the 15’x10’ ensemble room. Afterward, they can stock up on music books, accessories, or rental instruments in the shop. Players ready to demonstrate their musical chops can participate in recitals, where up to 45 guests can hear them belt out gorgeous melodies. In addition to recitals, Music to My Ears fills stages with song through its non-profit musical theater program, which annually introduces youngsters to the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing in a Broadway-style show.
