Formed by some of Atlanta's best studio musicians, the Atlanta Rhythm Section first came together in the 1970s after a recording session with Roy Orbison. They went on to become one of the top Southern rock acts of the decade. With hits including "So Into You," "Doraville," "Imaginary Lover" and "Spooky," they've carried on the classic rock tradition through 15 albums and over three decades. The Atlanta Rhythm Section continues to represent all the good things that the phrase "classic rock" makes you think of. Opening the show at Lyric Theatre will be rising Florida blues singer-songwriter JL Fulks.
