Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

I went on line and checked out your reviews, they sound too good to be true. What do you have to say about that or what is your secret. I'm just curious before I purchase. One other question, is this safe for a woman that is nursing, I've heard that I need to be really careful about products.

Jan, Yours is a very important question, yes if you are pregnant or nursing you do have to be careful about treatments and yes, this particular peel is safe for both pregnant and lactating women. To answer your other question... My clients are loyal to me because they know I truly care. Over the years I have worked and managed both Medical Spas and clinics and I can tell you the most important thing that matters in that environment is how many products and treatments are sold and getting the client in and out in a timely manner. It's more quantity versus quality. In most cases you'll get a decent treatment but I believe a client often needs additional time to get enough information to maximize their results and I give them that. I build a little time in between appointments for this and so that there is no waiting for the next client. By doing business this way it may reduce the number of clients I can see in a day, but I don't sell products or pressure for treatments, I educate. The result is, my clients are loyal and flexible, they know that they may not always get the exact time or day they want for their appointment but their flexibility is well rewarded.

More Questions and Answers

Q:

How often would I get this peel, since the package is for more than 1 and if it's just for sensitive or dull skin will it really give me good results. I had a major peel last year and now I don't know what direction to go in, that one took over 2 weeks for the peeling to stop and then the dryness was terrible, no one had prepared me for that and I don't want to repeat that experience I want something good but not that drastic.

Melanie J.  asked on  Nov 14, 2012

A:

Melanie, First, my answer is going to be in general, after analyzing your skin I may have to alter my response. This peel is for everyone, but in particular for those with sensitive, dull skin or women that are pregnant and lactating. You can get this peel as often as every two weeks. If after analyzing and consulting on your skin you decide you'd like a little more, I have some options. 1. A microdermabrasion or dermaplaning prior to this peel will boost the results (I'm offering either of these at 50% off to Groupon purchasers). or 2. I have a variety of chemical peels that you can choose from if you are not pregnant or lactating. Just know that there may be a small additional fee depending on which peel you want to switch to. It would be a good idea to go to my website and check out the descriptions of each of the peels on the Menu of Services page. You can also see what appointments are available and book your appointment on my Home page as well.
