My Family's Pizza
In 1956, Marco, a Sicilian immigrant, opened his first pizzeria called Pizza by Marco that would later become My Family's Pizza, and the family's been in the biz ever since. Now his son, Frank, heads up the restaurant and holds the family's most precious secret: the 13 spices that go into the sauce and dough, which he makes fresh each day. Those spices go on to adorn pies that range from classics to more ornate ones named after ancient emperors, including the Maximus, whose toppings include (but aren't limited to) sausage, ground beef, canadian bacon, pepperoni, black and green olives, onions, peppers, and mushrooms.
