What You'll Get
Yoga is one of the world's oldest forms of exercise, second only to holding the earth on your shoulders. Practice ancient athleticism with today's Groupon: for $49, you get one month of unlimited classes at My Hot Yoga Place in Hendersonville (up to a $150 value).
My Hot Yoga Place loosens limbs and boosts well-being inside its balmy studio, often heated up to 90 degrees, with toning and relaxing classes scheduled throughout the week. Instructors emphasize the conditioning capabilities of holding challenging poses in a heated environment, particularly its capacity for improving stamina, strength, and living-statue skills. Hot yoga classes 60–75 minutes long encourage students to work through an orchestrated sequence of coordinated poses; hot Vinyasa classes spend 75 minutes incorporating measured breaths into the postures, opening tight joints as well as improving cardiovascular health and flexibility. Morning classes commence as early as 6 a.m. on weekdays, and evening sessions guide attendees through the lesser-known supernova salutation.
Instructors recommend arriving to the studio well hydrated and willing to share any smuggled candy with the entire class. A locker room, cubbies in the lobby, and assorted treasure chests store shoes and other personal items during the sessions so that students only need to bring their mat, towel, and water with them into the practice room.
Although My Hot Yoga sometimes features a discounted price, today's Groupon still offers the best deal available.
