Q:

How big of a result can one achieve with just 1 treatment of Cryolipolysis? It seems with lipolaser you need to do 4-12 treatments to get the desired results so I wonder if you would get better results from 1 treatment of cryolipolysis or 8 treatments of lipolaser, considering it is less cost? Is 1 treatment just for 1 area of the body? If so, how big of a surface area is considered one area of the body? Thanks.

Ashley  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

Lipo Laser almost always takes 12 sessions. Plus, if you don't do daily cardio.,..the fat will not leave your body, it will go to another cell, or the one that opened will reclose. Cryo actually kills the cell...so it's definitely going to leave you! It takes awhile for the body to naturally push it out..but it goes. I had it under my chest (around rib cage area)...I actually forggot about it. Then one day, someone said, wow, you are losing weight. I looked down and I was noticeably smaller in the area of the Cryo. I am very happy with my results.

A:

I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you what results you should see. It is normal to lose up to 20% of the fat layer per treatment.

Cathy d.  from  Merchant  replied on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

This treatment is actually a cryo-lite treatment. Meaning, it uses RF, ultrasound, and a cooling handle.

Q:

Is this a Zeltiq machine?

Sue D.  asked on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

No, this is not a Zeltiq machine. It works differently. Same basic science, different procedure.

Cathy d.  from  Merchant  replied on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

This machine uses RF and Ultrasound, with a cold handle. It is nothing like Zeltiq or coolsculpting

Q:

Is this procedure FDA approved? What company makes the equipment? Could you approximate how many cryolipolysis treatments have you performed in the office and for how long have you been doing them?

Tara L.  asked on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

Yes, actually I do. A lot of fat deposits are actually hereditary, and cannot seem to budge no matter how much exercise or dieting you do. Cryo (or fat freezing) can get rid of up to 20% of a fat layer per treatment. However, at MY SPA, we combine methods of body sculpting, and an create a customized program to get rid of it for you without invasive surgery. Honestly, sometimes a combination works better than one specific treatment. You are welcome to come in for a free consultation where we can customize a plan to work for you. Either way, you can't go wrong with a cryo,, we may just add a couple steps to it. :)

I was just reading this question, and for some reason there appears to be an answer to a "different" question under it. Hmmm strange. So, to answer your question: This is not a cool sculpting zeltiq machine. This machine does not suck the skin and fat into a large handle. The science is still cryolipolysis (just as was discovered with children getting dimples from popsicles), but it's a different method of delivering the cold.

Cathy d.  from  Merchant  replied on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

These cannot be called cryolipolysis. It is a spa treatment (non medical) that uses the same science as popsicles causing dimples, combines with RF and ultrasound.

Q:

I've read all the questions and answers, but don't see where you've addressed specifically how this compares to CoolSculpting. Is this as effective as CoolSculpting? Is the regular cost of this the same as CoolSculpting? Each time you refer to the amt of fat loss you say, "up to 20% loss" and refer to the fat layer. Is the fat layer the bulge I see and feel or is it something else? How about under the chin area for this proceedure?

Raymond C.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

This is not Cool Sculpting. Cool Sculpting is a medical procedure. We are supplying a spa procedure that uses Radio Frequency, ultrasound, and a cold handle that freezes fat cells. WE cannot do a chin procedure with this machine, however we have other procedures for chin fat. It would be best if you come in for a free consultation. We would love to help you.

Q:

The groupon says "Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as a gift." For the areas I'd like to treat, I would need three session. Will My Spa accept more than one groupon from me?

Marisa R.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

I am sorry, but each person will only be able to use one Groupon.

Q:

I noticed in the treatment areas listed above did not include the buttock area. Do you treat the buttock area(s)? Will one treatment suffice per area or can there be more? Will this treatment make the individual feel chilly, or cold?

Syneetra W.  asked on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

We've never treated the buttocks. If that is your area of concern it would be best for you to come in for a consultation. Many people do feel quite chilly during the treatment. We provide blankets. :) As for number of treatments, many clients prefer two. It's best to have one, then wait three months to see the effects before deciding on more.

Cathy d.  from  Merchant  replied on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

I forgot to mention that we have equipment that targets the buttocks. It's not this machine however. You are welcome to come in for a free consult to see what we can do for you. :)

Q:

I am a fit male who other people would consider lean. Still, I have a thin layer of fat in the abdominal area, despite having strong and well-trained abdomilal muscles inside. Do you have any experience/history working with males like myself?

Ilya I.  asked on  Jan 8, 2013

A:

Many people who are thin and fit have a layer or two of fat in unwanted areas. No matter how much dieting and exercise, it seems impossible to get rid if it. We can definitely help with non-invasive procedures. I'm loving technology!!!

Q:

Are you only allowed to purchase one? What if I want to purchase one for my abs and one for my thighs? I would need 3 sessions. Would that be allowed?

Paula H.  asked on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

You can purchase more than one. Actually, you would need two for thighs (one per leg)...possibly two for abdomen, depending on body type. You are welcome to schedule a free consultation to determine your exact needs. :) However, this price is excellent! I'd grab a few of these sessions at this price if you are able.
