Consider discussing at the beginning what a first-time visitor should expect. Hearing the "first-time normal procedure" at the end was a bit disconcerting. I had a hard time relaxing because it wasn't really what I expected but if I had known upfront what the plan was I would have been able to follow along and respond better to what was being done. Since this is truly more therapy-based, and less a simple massage, the client needs to be ready for that experience upfront.

About Myo-Therapy & Physical Health Clinic

Myo-Therapy & Physical Health Clinic’s Lorenzo Hughes, LMT, massages patients with a number of modalities, but he also massages words as a writer for the Kansas City Examiner. So he’s an expert at communicating with clients about their injuries and illnesses and addressing them with the ideal treatment. To that end, he uses myotherapy, a form of medical massage that relies on soft-tissue manipulation without the use of oils, lotions, or dollops of Cheez Whiz. Hughes also employs classic Swedish massage to drive away the emotional stresses of everyday life. Dedicated to holistic health and drug-free medicine, he is currently working toward a doctorate degree at Kingdom College of Natural Health.
