Q:

Is this advisable for people with rosecea? Also I'm planning to have laser treatment by a dermatologist done in November to reduce the flushing and redness. But we are celebrating our 40th anniversary with a trip to St. Lucia in early November before which I might like to have this done. Do you think it's advisable?

A:

Hi Judy, Congrats on your 40th anniversary! Please feel free to reach out to the business directly at (401) 301-5110 with your specific question. Thanks!

A:

Hi Judy, This treatment will not effect Rosacea. In fact, we would elect to perform a blue light treatment after the service. Blue LED is used in dermatologist offices for many skin disorders, including rosacea, to calm the skin, and reduce redness. It also helps to control flare ups. In your case, I would like to see you and make reccomendations based on the severity of your condition and suggest the most suitable treatment taking into consideration, your Rosacea. We also do a Pevonia treatment, created specifically for Rosacea, that you may elect to do for your anniversary trip. Feel free to call and book a complimentary skin consultation. Q:

What is a "Noninvasive Face-Lift"?

Adrian S.  asked on  Oct 16, 2012

A:

Hi Adrian for a more in-depth explanation to what a Noninvasive Face-Lift includes please visit Skinplicity's Website, http://www.skinplicity-ahh.com/ also feel free to touch base with the spa at (401) 301-5110.

A:

It is a non surgical means for tightening, toning, and enhancing the texture of the skin by means of micro current - ultra sound and mild peeling of the skin. Results are cumulative, depending on number of treatments performed. It is great to do 2 for a special occasion, and more for long lasting effects. If you have other questions, please call the salon, and we will answer any other questions you may have.

Q:

Can you explain what a "noninvasive face-lift" specifically is?

lynne d.  asked on  Oct 16, 2012

A:

Hi Lynne, please visit Skinplicity's Website, http://www.skinplicity-ahh.com/, for a more in depth description of a Noninvasive Facelift. For the procedure results take a look at the Micro Current Facial Sculpting. And please feel free to touch base with the spa for further questions, (401) 301-5110.

A:

Hi Lynne, We use several techniques to tone the muscle, tighten the skin, and brighten the complexion. LED light helps to produce collagen and improve elasticity, micro current works on exercising and toning facial muscles, ultrasound sound enhances skin tightening. Along with the above, we use a mild peel, suitable for your personal skin type. 2 treatments, performed within 2 weeks, result in smoother, toned skin , that last about 2 weeks. Great option for a special event. The more treatment done and maintained, the longer the results. I have had people doing this service for years to maintain a youthful appearance.

Q:

How long do the effects of the procedure last?

Roxana A.  asked on  Oct 16, 2012

A:

Hi Roxana, for questions regarding the lasting results please touch base with Skinplicity at (401) 301-5110.

Collins J.  from  Groupon  replied on  Oct 16, 2012

A:

Hi Roxana, This treatment produces cumulative toning of the facial muscles, and when performed ina series, and maintained, will last indefinitely. Age of client, condition of skin, home maintenance, are all key factors for long lasting results. 2 treatments, performed over 10 days, is a great refresher and lift for tired skin, and many people will have this done for a special occ.asion. Without maintenance, it will produce results for about 2 weeks. If you have any other questions, feel free to call the salon, and we will return your call within 24 hours
