Located within Little India Market, Nanking Chinese might seem out of place at first. But a quick glance at the menu will dispel that notion: the restaurant serves not just Chinese dishes, but also Indian and Nepali cuisine.

This variety can make for some intriguing combinations. In the banquet-style dining room, guests might start with Punjabi lassi and crispy samosas before moving on to a meal of fish curry or kung pao chicken. Or, Thai iced tea might accompany entrees such as lamb korma, fried rice, and tandoori roti.
