About Naperville Bites and Sites

Though a Chicagoan by birth, Mike Wyrostek has lived in Naperville for more than 25 years, giving him plenty of time to really get to know the area. Over the years, the history buff has grown particularly attached to the historical downtown area and its more than 40 restaurants and bars, so much so, in fact, that he founded Naperville Bites and Sites food tours.

His tours introduce people to six eateries and specialty shops in the downtown area. Stops may include Quigley's Irish Pub, which is located in the historical Jefferson Hill building built in 1845, and Cookie Dough Creations, which scoops giant mounds of raw cookie dough (made without eggs) into ice-cream cups.
