What You'll Get
Seeing live theater can be a transcendent mind-body experience, akin to getting a tattoo underwater, or making out during an eclipse. Transcend boredom with today's Groupon for one ticket to A Scattered, Smothered & Covered Christmas at The Nashville Dinner Theatre. Choose from the following options:
- For $20, you get one ticket for dinner (or lunch) and the show (a $37 value, including $2 processing fee; parking not included). Seats will be in the main floor of the auditorium and dinner seating begins one hour before curtains up. Monell's Dining & Catering provides the menu, which includes southern staples, such as fried chicken, pork chops, potato salad, and corn pudding, all served family-style.
- For $13, you get one show-only ticket (a $27 value, including $2 processing fee). Seats will be in the mezzanine. Doors open two hours before show time and guests are invited to enjoy a drink at Randolph's, the in-house piano bar.
Starring Joyce DeWitt of Three's Company fame, the family-friendly show is a musical comedy about an unlikely group of folks stranded at a Waffle House on Christmas Eve. The witty production features a score by renowned songwriters, including country superstars Randy Travis and T. Graham Brown. Call ahead to reserve a seat for any remaining performance during the current run, which concludes December 19.
