Q:

After checking out the website, there are some interesting courses, like "youth trainer", are those supplemental to the Groupon? To clarify, is the groupon certification a prerequisite to taking those other educational courses or do/can we get those specialty certificates?

Mustafa E.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

This Groupon is not valid for specialty certificates.

A:

That depends on how much time you are able to commit. If you commit a few days a week to the course, you can have it finished within 2 months. But your first exam must be taken within 6 months.

Where this certification is accepted varies from gym to gym. You will need to check with your local club to see if it is accepted.

All course work is available online and you can sign up for your exam on their site to be proctored live over webcam, or you can choose to sign up for an exam at a physical location. All of these details will be provided when you sign up for your exam.
