Here's your ticket to see two of the fascinating and fun exhibits at National Geographic Museum. First, explore Photo Ark, an amazing collection of more than 5,000 portraits of creatures, taken by National Geographic magazine contributor Joel Sartore as he travels the world. Aiming to capture the animals before they disappear, this multiyear project highlights a visual connection between the animals and the people who help protect them. Next, see Crocs: Ancient Predators in a Modern World. This traveling exhibit features a mix of live and model crocodiles, including the African dwarf crocodile, Siamese crocodile and American alligator. See how these fascinating creatures live and communicate and how they differ from their prehistoric cousins. Centrally located downtown, the National Geographic Museum is just a few blocks from the White House and an easy walk from many of the national monuments.
