About Native Son Vineyard

Rows of ripe muscadine grapes sprawling on the hills overlooking Caraway and Daves mountains amaze visitors. Formerly a dairy pasture, the vineyard at Native Son Vineyard came to life as a result of hard work of family and friends and now greets wine lovers to fine varietals of their beloved drink. And Native Son Vineyard delivers an array of their own wines prepared from different cultivars. The Twisted Spirit, for example, is a dark wine made from the Noble muscadines and delights with its blackberry hint. The Golden Warrior, on the other hand, pleases visitors with the aroma of the bronze muscadines, Carlos and Magnolia. These and a few more, accompanied by the expansive views of the vineyard, are bound to make for an unforgettable experience!

What a delight this experience was. Mike is truly a gem and made this experience so much fun. Native Son Vineyard may be assuming but it is full of fun and flair. It was a great opportunity to sit back, enjoy your wine, and soak in the views. This is a perfect couples outing, girls day, or experience for anyone seeking local splendor and delicious wines. Bonus: Outside food welcome.

This is a small winery but they have great Muscadine wine. It is sweet but not overly sweet. The price for the wine is very reasonable also. And Mike the host at the winery is fantastic - he is friendly and amusing . Would definitely recommend.
