For more than 100 years, Lincoln Park's Bakery Building was home to flour-dusted workers and, for a time, the renowned Bakery restaurant. Though the ovens shut off in the late 1980s, the bakers and chefs left behind a timeless setting—exposed brick, hardwood floors, and a loft-like space. Today, part of the building is the domain of the talented stylists and aestheticians behind Natural Elements — including Vidal Sassoon precision cutter Jimmy Marino— and they've proven themselves more than worthy of their historical storefront.
Their beauty expertise was honed across America and Europe, and it has since been tapped by the likes of Allure and CS magazines and nominated for the Lincoln Park Top 10. The majority of the time, however, the team stays away from flashing camera lights, instead working amid their salon's chandeliers and soft, meditative music. Here, they make clients over with haircuts, facials, makeup artistry, and many other services. Whatever the service, Natural Elements treats each client to a relaxing shampoo and massage in its dedicated shampoo sanctuary.
