Before country music star Justin Spears ties the knot in the morning, he's tying one on tonight in New Country, an unfiltered stage comedy about a bachelor party that makes the members of The Hangover's "wolf pack" look like cubs. Join Spears -- and his entourage of ruthless managers, faux fans and true friends, not to mention a pig-farming uncle and a plastic model -- as they party hard before the big day. Inevitably, this rodeo of rowdiness goes wrong, provoking the question: Will Justin come out on top, or will his career go pop? Written by Mark Roberts -- a writer and producer for Two and a Half Men and creator of Mike & Molly -- New Country receives its Midwest premiere at Chicago's Den Theatre 2B.
This show is one hour and 20 minutes long, with no intermission.
