I purchased 6 sessions and had my first one recently. It was a bit painful when Dr. Choe placed the needles at certain points (hands, feet and side of thigh). The verdict is still out but I am definitely going back for all my sessions. Dr. Choe doesn't say much but I think he has the credentials to back up his practice. If I feel I've got results after my 6 sessions, I'll definitely return.
It was a good experience. I think its hard to look for results with one visit so I recommend buying 6 up front. Can't use the Groupon for future visits which of course he recommended. This was my first experience with acupuncture. Only a couple of needs "hurt" more of a sting than pain. I would have liked him to explain more but overall I feel more relaxed.
Dr.Choe was very nice! Didn’t say a whole lot but was polite, i have never had acupuncture done before so i don’t really have anything to compare it to. My body is a little sore but overall the pain in my lower back isn’t as bad.

As practiced in ancient Chinese medicine, acupuncture rebalances the flow of energy through the body. Whether being practiced in its traditional or Western forms, acupuncture uses fine needles to target the body’s 12 meridians and redistribute energy. Patients look to these treatments for relief from pain and allergies, to stimulate weight loss, or even to cope with stress and its related symptoms.
