New Orleans Tour Hub

The spokes of New Orleans Tour Hub extend all over the city itself and into the swamplands beyond its borders. Its experts help visitors explore many of the Big Easy's most notable sights, including architectural marvels in the French Quarter, former plantations, gourmet restaurants, and the infamous Cities of the Dead. Check out how you can get around this vibrant city and what you might see:

  • By bike: NOLA Cycles' bikes can be your mode of transport for a self-guided tour of the city, which designed for stops at major points of interest. Tours include bike rental.

  • By foot: The Taste of Nawlins walking tour explores Cajun and Creole cuisine by visiting some of the city's oldest and well-known eateries. The graveyard tour offers French Quarter architectural insights, the history behind Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1, and visits to notable tombs and vaults. A Ghosts, Voodoo, and Vampires tour takes a much spookier storytelling approach.

  • By boat: It gets pretty wild just 30 minutes outside downtown New Orleans. Fast-paced airboats venture into the swamps to drop in on alligators, snakes, herons, and nutria. From a covered pontoon boat, another tour examines Cajun and American-Indian life in the Bayou. The captains—natives of the swamps with backgrounds in gator hunting and trapping—enlighten passengers about the history and wildlife.

  • By bus: An air-conditioned bus picks tourists up at their hotels and transports them to the city's oldest sections, such as the Garden District, Tremé, the French Quarter, and the above-ground cemeteries.

Customer Reviews

Jason is super nice and the beachcomber bikes are fine for tooling around in NOLA. However, biking in general is still a new cultural concept in NOLA, so one has to be extra alert in traffic and pedestrian congestion.
