Few issues are as fraught as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and Olivier Award-winning playwright David Hare mines that potent drama in his solo play Via Dolorosa. To write the show, Hare drew on conversations he had with over 30 artists, politicians, historians and settlers in the region, exploring the issues of faith and ideology of those living in "The Holy Land." Best known for plays like Skylight and screenplays for films such as The Hours, Hare has been nominated for two Oscars, three Golden Globes and three Tony Awards. David Bryan Jackson (AMC's Turn) stars in this New Repertory Theatre production at Arsenal Center for the Arts.
