The Deal

  • $120 for a glassblowing workshop with appetizers for one

This workshop is being offered exclusively to Groupon customers. First, professional glassblowers lead an orientation in the studio and demonstrate their methods. Students are then divided into two groups: one heads to the Hot Shop to make a solid glass paperweight through traditional glassblowing, and the other goes to the Flame Shop to make a colorful bead or pendant via lamp working.

Over two hours, students are rotated through the shops to try out both processes. For the third hour, participants snack on appetizers, mingle, and watch the pros show off more advanced skills.
