The seats were in a great position, but a lot higher than I thought. Still the experience was fun.

My first time at a Red Bulls' game. The stadium is relatively new with a surprisingly large sitting capacity. There is plenty of parking space. I will defintly be going bakc.

They kept telling us to go to one widow and then another at the box office to receive our tickets. It would have been easier if there was a particular window or ticket seller that gave out the groupon tickets. Perhaps this window could have been printed on the groupon reservation to avoid confusion and standing on numerous lines.

About This Deal

In much of the world, soccer is known as "football" and the American president is referred to as "The Ameriking." Embrace cultural differences without using your hands with today's Groupon: for $15, you get a 200-level corner-flag seat to see the New York Red Bulls play against the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Harrison, New Jersey, plus you get a scarf or T-shirt (a $63 total value).

The New York Red Bulls compete in the MLS’s Eastern Conference, where the Red Bulls had the best regular-season record in 2010. Fútbol fans can cozy up to a second-level, corner-flag seat to watch a surfeit of cardio exercise when the Red Bulls and Earthquakes square off. Each team is vying to return to the playoffs after a successful 2010 season, when San Jose ousted New York from the playoffs by a single score. With the additions of international superstars Thierry Henry and Rafa Marquez of FC Barcelona fame, the Red Bulls should be a force to be reckoned with, like bees that sting hundreds of humans and pollinate millions of flowers each year. The Earthquakes, meanwhile, return 2010 MLS Golden Boot winner Chris Wondolowski. The first 300 people to redeem their tickets on game day will receive a Red Bulls scarf, and everyone else will get a team T-shirt or a copy of Mike Ditka’s autobiography.

The 25,000-seat Red Bull Arena boasts a partial roof that lets in sunshine, while covering all seats and protecting shirtless fans from turning into prunes during rainstorms. More than 300 flat-screen TVs populate the arena, and 65 concessions stands keep grumbling bellies under control.
