- $549 for $2,000 toward Invisalign treatment
Invisalign straightens teeth with a series of clear, removable, and custom aligners. The process begins at the dentist’s office, where, during an initial consultation, the doctor recommends Comprehensive or Express treatment, or determines that the patient is not eligible at all. Comprehensive treatment costs an additional $3,400 and Express treatment costs an additional $2,400.
If the patient continues with treatment, the doctor gathers records—such as x-rays and impressions of the upper and lower teeth—which are then submitted to Invisalign. In the Invisalign lab, technicians craft a set of up to 48 transparent aligners made to the patient’s exact specifications and makes the final determination on Express or Comprehensive treatment. Patients wear the removable aligners for 6–18 months, changing them every two weeks and only removing them while eating or brushing.
Throughout the treatment, patients return to the dentist’s office for routine checkups to ensure teeth continue to shift into their proper places. Read the Invisalign FAQs here.
Newport Dental Group
Newport Dental Group sextet of doctors includes dental surgeons, an anesthesiologist, and a periodontist. They see patients for everything from general checkups to Invisalign teeth straightening to complete smile makeovers.
The doctors rely on advanced technologies such as digital x-rays, which take just 30 seconds and expose patients to much less radiation than traditional x-rays, and intraoral cameras, which take pictures of mouths more effectively than a swallowed cell phone. With lasers, they remove tooth decay or soft tissue without the heat or vibration that results from using traditional drills. They also can replace missing teeth in one hour with dental implants.
