Q:

Can we take these boats into the upper bay?

Susan E.  asked on  Jan 11, 2013

A:

Not sure what you mean by upper bay. If you are referring to back bay. You can take the boats to back bay area near Newport Dunes Marina. However, there are signs posted that boats are not allowed past a certain point on the back bay. You are responsible to follow all marina rules and signs..

Q:

I am interested in the grilling part on the boat and I've never grilled on a boat that small. Do we need to provide a grill like a "lil" smokey? and does the smoke from the grill become a problem?

chao b.  asked on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

The grill is located on the outside of the boat. You can not be moving while grilling. You have to be docked at a public pier. The closest public pier to us is around 40-45 minutes away. So when you figure 45min there and 45 min back plus time to cook and eat the food. You have to consider reservation time. Most people that grill do a minimum of 3 hours to have enough time. If you do the 2.5 hour groupon you can add additional time to the reservation at normal rates. $65 per 1/2 hour and $125 per hour
