Targeted to kids between ages 3 and 17, weekly theater classes tackle subjects such as musical theater, improvisation, or acting on a broader scale during interactive one-hour sessions that include a binder of introductory materials.
Meeting five days a week, August 5–23, Broadway Bound summer camp teaches youthful thespians the theatrical arts in a fun, stimulating environment. Improv exercises help shy students get comfortable with performing before classes delve into basic acting techniques. Singing and dancing lessons prep budding triple threats for future careers on the Great White Way and exercises in scenes and monologues solidify dramatic technique. Both levels finish with a showcase where newly minted actors perform for friends and family.
