What You'll Get
People holding yoga poses typically seek self-discipline and control, whereas those holding yoga posters just want Sting's autograph. Find peace while standing still with today's Groupon: for $30, you get a five-class punch card at NH Power Yoga in Merrimack (up to a $60 value).
Voted 2011 Best Yoga Studio in Nashua by readers of Hippo, NH Power Yoga earns acclaim by healing and strengthening students during sessions of Baptiste Power Vinyasa, a heat-based, flowing style of yoga. Expert body-benders lead students through challenging poses in a heated room, aiming to send toxins out of bodies on wild rapids of sweat. Each class, 60–90 minutes, accommodates students of all yoga skill levels and breeds, from nimble novice to flex expert. Through practice, students will build strength, gain flexibility, and discover a calmness of the kind rarely seen outside of the part before a horror movie gets scary.
Up to 60 yoganites per class twist and stretch beneath the watchful eyes of a wooden Buddha in the warm-toned yoga studio. The studio encourages students to bring water, towels, and their own mats ($2 for rental), and asks stretchers to follow such standard yoga etiquette as arriving 20 minutes early and not breathing so deeply that no air remains to propagate sound waves. Classes run seven days a week; check the schedule for days and times.
