I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. The place is a little rough looking - old, etc. but the workers were safety oriented and capable. They were careful to give everybody their allotted time and not push anybody past their abilities. Long metal stairway to get to the center. Mobility challenged spectators be forewarned.
  • Safe, indoor skydiving

The first parachute was invented when Jack, tumbling haplessly from his titanium beanstalk, used a purloined pair of giant underpants to steady his fall. Safely freefall without a burdensome apparatus with today's Groupon: for $69, you get a five-minute flight and t-shirt from Niagara Freefall Indoor Skydiving, located at the Niagara Freefall & Interactive Center in Niagara Falls, Ontario (a $141.25 value).

Niagara Freefall Indoor Skydiving straps thrill seekers into its environmentally controlled indoor vertical wind tunnel for an adrenaline rush akin only to skydiving. This trip to zero Gs begins with a 25-minute pre-flight training that maps out safety, flight suit assemblage, and beloved Smothers Brothers routines. Niagara Freefall's five-minute flight elevates air walkers in an air chamber sprawling 20 feet high and 12 feet wide as it faithfully mimics pulling a ripcord and hopping from a plane. As the 140 mph wind speeds gently blast your body for 300 earth-defying seconds, place yourself into the mindset of a flying squirrel or attempt to mime eating a banana. The wind tunnel's padded walls and floors ensure safety as a professional instructor monitors all activity. Up to five people may participate in a group, providing the ideal excuse to get matching Jackson 5 tattoos after the exhilarating plummet.

Very safe and fun. Staff made sure we had a good experience. If you go in the winter, be sure to wear a coat under the fly suit!

My husband has always wanted to jump out of a plane and well lets just say that this was as close as I was comfortable with. Since it was on his bucket list I bought him a package for Christmas and he just did it a week ago and came out with a HUGE smile on his face! It isn't as easy as it looks and well after watching him through the glass and how he struggled lets just say that he will NEVER be allowed to jump out of plane in the future...he would be the one to land in trees! It was a great time and the kids want to try it next time! Thanks for some smiles and laughs!

My husband and oldest son did this and really enjoyed it. There was a short information session with the "flight attendant" first, then into the wind tunnel they went. Looked like a blast, I'm going to try it next time :o)

Instructor was amazing. Great job of letting us actually get a feel for flying on our own.
