About Nidia's Cleaning Service
"I worked by myself in Costa Rica, and I always had a dream to have a business here," says Nidia Wolff. She has lived in the United States for 20 years, learning a new language so that she could go to school, earn a college degree, and share her passion for helping others. After graduation, she found a business partner and started a cleaning company. But in the end, it wasn't her dream. The business wasn't hers. "Four years ago, I left everything to the partner, started all over fresh by myself. That's what I wanted," she says. "Starting over is scary for some. Starting everything fresh, for me, was a blessing."
Now, vaunting a motto of "We don't cut corners, we clean them," Nidia's family-owned-and-operated business and her small staff of cleaning technicians use their own supplies, always have eco-friendly products on hand, and sing hypoallergenic cleaning songs for those who ask in advance. Whether steam-cleaning carpets or deep-cleaning a house, their only goal is pleasing the customer. "When we finish a job, they'll say, 'Wow that looks like a new stove' or, 'That looks like a brand new tub," Nidia says. "Everyday I'm excited to see people's faces. A satisfied face is everything."
