About Nielsens Frozen Custard
In 1981, Steve Nielsen starting mixing and freezing his own custard, searching for a tastier ice cream. He got results and quickly founded Nielsens Frozen Custard to share his creations with the world. Getting the right taste and texture out of his dessert wasn't the end of his mission, though. He continued to experiment until he found the perfect temperature to serve his treats at, as well: 26 degrees Fahrenheit, frozen but not so cold as to numb the taste buds. The custard comes in standard flavors such as chocolate and vanilla, as well as more exotic flavors such as apple pie and cheesecake.
