From the book of the same name comes NAACP Image Award nominee Nina Foxx's Just Short of Crazy, in which levelheaded lawyer Alexis finds her life entirely out of order. Left at the altar, Alexis decides to dive into the world of tae kwan do and finds herself fighting an inexplicable attraction to a nightclub owner named Remedy Brown. But with Remedy comes the baggage of a crazy ex named Ayzah, whose presence makes the personal and professional life of Alexis significantly more complicated. This engaging slice of life can be seen at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute in Seattle.
