Skipping breakfast and lunch can result in tiredness, difficulty concentrating, and loss of the motor skills necessary to grip sandwiches or to butter toast. Maintain a healthy three-meal lifestyle with today’s Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of breakfast or lunch at Nina’s Café on West Main Street. The culinary experts at Nina’s Café craft their expansive menu around egg-based breakfast dishes and eclectic lunch fare. Overcome a night of not eating with one of 19 six-egg omelettes, such as the garden deluxe, which is inundated with green pepper, onion, mushroom, broccoli, cheese, and tomato ($9). Or, sink pearly whites into a breakfast wet burrito, loaded to the hilt with scrambled eggs, chorizo, hash browns, and encased in a flour tortilla topped with succulent homemade sausage gravy ($6.95). Lunch diners can delight in the deliciousness of dishes ranging from egg salad ($5.50) and roast-beef sandwiches ($5.95) to the French melt ($6.95), which is forged with two beef patties and two cheeses under 2,000-degree heat from a Parisian dragon’s respiratory fire. About Nina's Café
When Todd, Pam, and Nina Meyer opened Nina’s Cafe in 1998, they created a space that captured exactly what they wanted in a restaurant—a smoke-free room filled with the scents of all-day breakfast feasts and tasty soups and chili made from their own family recipes. Bottomless cups of fresh coffee accompany plates of eggs or pancakes and waffles topped with rivers of warm syrup. For lunch, expect feasts of burgers, chicken salad wraps, and sandwiches baked on homemade bread. Since Nina's 45-seat diner is cozy, guests are advised to plan ahead since there may be a wait during peak times.
