No Idea Tavern serves a cornucopia of cold brews and palate-pleasing wines within a cheerful bar area and cushy lounge. No Idea's drink menu features hefty 20-oz. drafts like Guinness ($6), Blue Moon ($5), and Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA ($6) and a myriad of a bottles such as Samuel Smith's oatmeal stout ($4) and easy-drinking Natty Boh ($4). Wine-sippers can detect the licorice flavors of Lindeman's Shiraz ($6 for a glass) while engaged in a passionate game of ping-pong, or inspect the Echelon Pinot Grigio ($6) as they sink birdies on the Golden Tee arcade game. Libation-complementing appetizers include the crispy brown tater tots ($5) and customizable quesadillas ($7).

As football season rolls in, No Idea Tavern shows every New York Jets and Penn State Nittany Lions game with sound. The 14 high-definition TVs also pump out several NFL, MLB, and soccer matchups. Guzzle down tall brewskies, sample fermented libations, and watch Joe Namath come back from retirement and vie for a Skecher's endorsement deal with today's side deal to No Idea Tavern.

This Groupon must be redeemed in one visit.

No Idea Tavern was featured as one of Baltimore's Best Neighborhood Bars in 2009 by Baltimore magazine and five Yelpers give it a three-star average:

  • Though No Idea Tavern…is a sports bar, it's rare to find a patron in there that doesn't live down the block. You can even use their wireless. – Baltimore
  • For a good time, even on a weekday- check it out. You can hear your friends talk and get tots. – Jill K., Yelp

No Idea Tavern

No Idea Tavern cultivates a lively sports-bar atmosphere with craft beers, pizzas, burgers, chicken wings, and ample opportunities for watching football, baseball, hockey, and European Premier League soccer. There's a vast array of games and entertainment here—you can fill the bar with a danceable soundtrack from the Internet jukebox, challenge friends to games at the beer-pong table, or impersonate firemen at the pole in the lounge area. Meals such as crab pretzels, margherita pizzas, and cheesesteaks make for excellent tailgating fare as fans watch every Penn State, Jets, and Liverpool match. Brunches kick off weekend mornings with spreads of bloody marys, maple-syrup-drenched pancakes, and french toast.
