A:

We do have a weight restriction but the aircraft can usually handle up to 1000 lbs depending on the configuration.

Q:

If I purchase the $169 deal, its a 2 hour but only 45 minutes of flying correct? Also does the student get to fly for the full 45 minutes? Is there any reading or homework that needs to be done before attending the class or is that all done at the flight center?

Chelsey D.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

No homework required for the first flight. The flight portion is about 45 minutes. The student will be at the controls from take-off to landing depending on their comfort levels.

Is there a weight or height limit on either of these? I know some others have them. Also the deal to fly...can someone go with them at an extra cost?

Vicki S.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

You can bring up to 2 other people with you depending on weight. Call to verify that it is ok before bringing them. We can comfortably carry most people. The cost per extra person is $20.

Q:

In the $169 option, can you tell me how much flying the customer actually gets? This is for a 16 year old and I just want to insure that he will get an experience appropriate for his age, i.e. not just getting the controls for 2 minutes. Thanks

Jack W.  asked on  Nov 26, 2012

A:

The actual flight time is about 45 minutes, and the student will be able to do whatever they feel comfortable with. During the flight you are more than welcome to fly anywhere the aircraft is allowed in the allotted time. The rest of the time is in ground work where you will learn about the aircraft and how they fly.
