What You'll Get
Today’s side deal gets you one ticket to see Quadrille: The Mystique of the Horse at the Noble Horse Theatre in Old Town. The show begins January 15, 2011, and runs through March 19, 2011. Your Groupon is good for any scheduled date (or call for upcoming shows). Choose between the following two ticketing options:
- For $12, you get one adult ticket for matinee or evening admission (a $25 value).
- For $9, you get one child’s ticket, valid for children 12 and under (a $18 value).
Set in 18th-century Europe, Quadrille is a dance of horse and rider so perfectly orchestrated that audiences lose track of who is a human, who is a horse, and who is a mix of the two. The show combines classical music, daring Cossack trick riders, and Arabian horses arguing with white stallions over who’s more majestic. After the act, the audience will be invited to meet the human and equine performers, enjoy a horse-carriage ride, or mount a Cossack trick horse.
Performances are BYOB, and though your Groupon does not include Noble Horse’s evening dinner, you are welcome to purchase it separately or bring food of your own. Evening performances last 75 minutes and matinee performances last an hour. Shows often sell out quickly, so call early to reserve your spot for the show of your choosing.
Though this year’s productions have yet to receive many online reviews, Yelpers give the Noble Horse Theatre an average of 3.5 stars, and six TripAdvisors give it an average of four owl eyes. > * If you are looking for something different and out of the ordinary to do some day then this is the place to check out. – Dave S., Yelp > * Noble Horse Theatre was the one choice that pleased everyone [sic]. The show was as exciting and entertaining as the horses were beautiful. We all agreed that we would highly recommend this show to all friends of all ages. – travelsalot31, TripAdvisor
