About Cheveux Salon - Noelle Campbell-Goodrich
Noelle Campbell-Goodrich made her foray into the hair industry by working as an apprentice at Sugar Salon. With that experience under her belt, she went on to study at Toni&Guy in New York City and Vidal Sassoon San Francisco. When she returned home, she became the head stylist at Sugar Salon and eventually the owner. After five years of leading her own staff, her continual curiosity about hair prompted a move to Sonoma and a new job at Cheveux, which means "hair" in French and "I can't hide my ears" in Elvish.
Housed inside a historic yellow house, Cheveux's remodeled interior features black-and-white checkered floors, white wainscoting, and inset shelves. A fireplace keeps patrons warm during the winter and entertains eyes with four portraits of the Beatles as seen through the eyes of an actual beetle. Amid these posh furnishings, Noelle performs services such as extensions, straightening treatments, and bridal updos under the watchful gaze of owner Sharna Haver. In addition to molding manes with products by Redken, Wella, and Agadir, the stylists at Cheveux also raised funds for Voices, an organization that provides education, housing, and employment for young adults transitioning out of foster care.
