Birthday party thank-you notes and summer-camp postcards blossom into a poignant 50-year friendship in A.R. Gurney's Pulitzer Prize-nominated drama Love Letters. After a brief romance as teenagers, Andrew and Melissa go their separate ways yet continue to write each other as one goes on to become a U.S. senator and the other struggles to pursue her dream of being an artist. Now North Bay Stage Company presents this unique piece of theater that, in Gurney's words, "needs no theatre, no lengthy rehearsal, no special set, no memorization of lines, and no commitment from its two actors beyond the night of performance." Different actors will be featured during the run of this funny and meaningful work at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. See the full event listing for the scheduled lineup of actors.
