Northland Roller Rink has been a Detroit icon & staple for as long as I can remember. An experience I have gladly been able to share with my children as my parents did with me.

About Northland Roller Rink

Northland Roller Rink has been welcoming skaters to its oversized facility since the 1950s. The rink, which is big enough to hold a commercial airliner, now boasts new hardwood floors made of maple, as well as an updated light and sound system.

Skaters glide across the rink's smooth surface, dancing to beats funneled out through the sound system while multicolored lights strung above them illuminate their moves. Throughout the week and month, the rink hosts various groups during open skate, family skate, and adult skate session open to patrons 25 and older.
