Great place for the entire family. The place is huge with lots of displays and things to see. It also appeared to be recently updated which was very nice.

Very eclectic space. But disappointing so many of the trains didn't work. Lighting was off. Overall not worth the cost. Details on thr models were amazing and if you like that then definitely a good experience but, again so many inop trains...felt like it could have been so much more.

As a family we paid $63 with a Groupon discount. Regular admission is $30 per adult. This is extremely high for what Northlandz advertises. There’s a few trains running throughout the large exhibit with a mix of aliens, dolls, teddies, Elvis figures thrown in. Defiantly a long way to go to bring it up to the ultimate TRAIN experience. Tacky reused junk in the gift store and a stressed cashier.

Fascinating and interesting for kids and grownups! Lots of cool, creepy and fun old toys are displayed. The train set up is unimaginable! It goes on and on and tells stories of history, sights across the world and many vignettes are played out subtly so you really have to study each scene to understand and enjoy it.

This experience is amazing for both children and adults. You can take your time to enjoy literally miles of scenes and trains...no one hurries you...and it is ever changing every few feet. Highly recommend.

Northlandz is amazing! If you like model trains, this place is for you! The tracks and scenes are so well done. Lots and lots of dolls, too. Groupon was very easy to use. Nice trip with the grandkids, ages 12 and 9, especially on a rainy day.

About Northlandz

Northlandz holds the distinction of being the World’s Largest Model railroad in the The Guinness Book of World Records. With over eight miles of track inside a 52,000 square foot building, this miniature wonderland boasts hundreds of tunnels and canyons that rise three and a half stories high.

  • Take a self guided tour that lasts two to three hours, surveying over 100 trains as they chug through mountains and over valleys crafted carefully by hand.
  • Ride the railroad outdoors, a full-sized train that passes through multiple landscapes including a tunnel, woods, along a river, and over a bridge (open on the weekends only, train rides are an additional fee).
  • Explore 400+ tunnels and wait for different trains to loop around and pass through as they traverse the entire expanse of the indoor play park.
