About Novo Brazil Brewing Company
Though it only opened a year before, Novo Brazil Brewing Company achieved a pretty big accomplishment in spring of 2016—it won a bronze medal at the World Beer Cup, what has been touted as the most prestigious beer competition in the world by San Diego magazine. The brand-new brewery managed to beat out breweries from all over the world and snag the bronze medal for its Corvo negro, a Russian-style imperial stout.
With 20 different beers available, the tap room is very spacious, including shiny tanks, a long wooden bar, and colorful artwork, featuring depictions of the friendly toucan found on Novo's beer cans and glasses. Outside, food trucks sling bites that visitors can take back into the brewery.
