Q:

I got Botox injections in my Glabella a couple years ago and received 12 units. At your regular cost of $11 a unit it would cost $132.00 so $99 does not seem like such a deal, certainly not 60% off. Am I calculating wrong?

marian s.  asked on  Oct 11, 2012

A:

Marian As you probably have found in pricing around the area, many places may charge $200 or more for an area or up to $15/u. The deal is an up to deal and covers all comers for any area listed. Without seeing you I have to assume four calculations are correct and this may not be a deal for you. Thanks Dr D

Q:

Does $99 dollars of Botox equal ten units?

Christine E.  asked on  Oct 10, 2012

A:

Christine The way the deal is structured you select the area you want treated and we use the amount appropriate to treat that area. There is a significant variation in the number of units needed, usually related to the strength of the muscles, the size of the area and the age and gender of the patient. If you want to come in, we do complimentary consultations. I hope this gives you some idea. If you've been treated before you should have an idea of the amount that was used. Thanks Dr. D

Q:

Do results show up soon after the injection or even immediately? I had botox at another office and had no results. Does it take many injections?

Barbara G.  asked on  Oct 8, 2012

A:

Sorry for the delay! According to the Botox FAQ, "Within days, you may see a marked improvement in the moderate-to-severe frown lines between your brows. Lines continue to improve for up to 30 days, and results can last for up to 4 months. Individual results may vary."

Q:

Avertizing a deal without specifying minimum units purchased is not exactly a good deal. What is the min. amount of units that are sold with this Groupon?

Vita V.  asked on  Oct 8, 2012

A:

Vita The number of units depends on the area selected for treatment and how many units are needed to treat that area. Each patient has different needs depending on the strength and size of the muscles that need to be treated. Without seeing you it is difficult to answer your question better. We do offer complimentary consultations. Thanks for the question and hope to see you soon. Dr. D

Q:

If I choose to use this Groupn on my glabella, how many units will I get for the $99?

Kristina A.  asked on  Oct 8, 2012

A:

Kristina Without seeing you it is difficult to say. We recommend treating an area such as the glabella so in general conversation there is no movement but with forced use of the muscles you have minimal activity. This way you look relaxed but not frozen. Thanks for the question and hope to see you soon Dr.D
