Q:

I woujld like the pricing to be answered without me calling for the bladeless proceedure. Also what exactly does the groupon deal proceedure cover -meaning any perscription range etc. please be upfront without the calling. Otherwise it feels as if it is just a lure to get people in. I am interested but want facts please.

Tamara v.  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

Dear Tamara, the bladeless procedures are usually necessary when the person's prescription is higher than average, or the cornea is too thin. That being said, the blade-based procedure would be for people with either very very thick corneas, or moderate prescription, or both. As we must all comply with FDA regulations those parameters would be determined on the day of the conultation, but as you are curious, those would be the disqualifiers for the blade-based procedure. If you do qualify, the groupon covers all pre and post-op care + the blade-based procedure.

Q:

How much is the bladeless procedure then with this deal?

Q:

It says if I'm not a good candidate for LASIK, I can use the money towards the PRK/LASEK. If this is the case for me, how much more will I have to pay? It is very vague to say that the Groupon can be applied to other procedures, because that's no different than me not having a Groupon ( because either way, I've paid $1795). Is there a set price for the PRK/LASEK, after I've purchased the Groupon?

Q:

How many doctors are there at this Lasik Center? Who are the doctors? Can the procedure and all appointments be done at the Edison, New Jersey clinic?

angie l.  asked on  Aug 15, 2012

A:

We have five difference doctors at our facility. The pre and post-op care can be done in Edison, but the surgery would be in Manhattan. You may find out more at seelasik.com.

Q:

Does the price of this groupon include all the pre op and post op procedures and the eye drops and any medications? Is there any hidden fees?

KWOK L.  asked on  Aug 15, 2012

A:

Dear Kwok, all pre op and post ops are included, however the antibiotic drops are prescribed, therefore pharmacy pickup is necessary. This is again a Traditional Lasik Deal, not a bladeless procedure.
