It's a good deal for the price. But the place is a little run down, and it's a little tough to find decent skates that didn't have stitching ripped out of them or were otherwise just gross. The staff was helpful though.

We took our 17 grandchildren ages 3 to 20 and had a great time. We spent the whole time on the ice. Rented 4 walkers for our little ones and everybody was happy. Best day ever for all the cousins. Thanks for the Groupons, we would not of come with out it.

About Oak Park Ice Arena

There's a lot of frozen water inside Oak Park Ice Arena. The rink spans across a single 200'x85' sheet of ice—that makes the massive rink the same size used by the NHL. You don't have to be a pro hockey player to skate here, however. The arena, which first opened in 1970, hosts public ice skating for kids and adults. It's open every day of the week, and the schedule also includes ice-skating classes, neon skate nights, and birthday parties.
